Pastels and perfect

I love, love, love these stunning Advocate tee-shirts, they are made from 100% organic cotton and feature illustrations by independent and inspirational artists.
The prints are all soft, pretty pastels, they are romantic and beautiful, but also have that neo-hippy LA feel. So pretty with summer casuals and rainbow pastel hair!

At least Smashbox will give us a Heat Wave this summer!

This summer the weather is not great thus far, however, Smashbox have risen this temperatures with their new Heat Wave range!

A few days ago, I was invited by Smashbox to learn a little about what they have created for summer 2013.

First off, they showed me their Heat Wave Eyeshadow Palette & Brush set, this is a brilliant set, as it contains 10 eyeshadows and one great quality brush. The colours range from warm, pretty and sweet tones of nudes, golds and a rose gold. Perfect for the day and pretty fresh looks!

There is also cooler and darker shades of dark blues and browns for more sultry dramatic looks. All the eyeshadows can be used both wet and dry with a brilliant long lasting formulae which won’t crease in the heat! This set gives you pretty much every colour of eyeshadow you will need for every event for both day and evening!

Next I learnt about the Heat Wave Lip Gloss Set, these four colours drench your lips with luscious colour! I used the red over my regular lip colour, as I love a really deep red and these give you a more translucent look. My lips have literally never looked so glossy and full! They shined and glossed like never before with a non-sticky feel! Actually incredible! I’m not normally a lipgloss girl, but these give you such an incredible effect, I could easy be converted with this range!

These products are online and available at Snashbox Counters right now, see what you think to them!

Bond street just got better!

Yesterday I popped into the new flagship Chanel store on Bond street, London. It has only been open for 3 days, so I couldn’t wait any longer before going into have a look!

The store is massive, three floors of fabulousness! It really reminds me of the Paris store, it’s absolutely beautiful! The Autumn/Winter Collection is now in store, but they do have some Spring/Summer pieces tucked away if you ask for them. I know exactly what I want from the previous season, so they kindly got what I wanted out, for me to have a droll over!

It was crazy busy and took a while to get served, but in Chanel, they don’t help you until they are ready and then once you are being served, you have their full attention. The lady serving me was a super chic French lady, wearing a stunning Chanel suit and told me some wonderful stories and dates the bags were first designed and how Gabrielle would keep her lipstick in the small gap between the pockets.

After a while I felt like I had smelt too many beautiful perfumes and I was all confused with colours and sizes, so I needed to go home and have a think. But until then, I have the memories of the beautiful new store and I can’t wait to go back in!

Next time you are in Bond Street, you must pop into the store, as it is a real treat; and in the mean time, here are a few photos I took… I love Chanel so much!

Birthday Shoes!

Yesterday I popped into the Mayfair Charlotte Olympia store, I absolutely love it in there, it is such a beautifully designed store and there are so many beautiful shoes to look at! The other great thing about this store, is the sales assistants. They are all really friendly and helpful and always have a nice chat when I go in!

I thought I wanted these Charlotte Olympia X Tom Binn’s Kitty Flats before, but now I have seen them up close and tried them on, I REALLY want them! In fact, I want them as my birthday shoes!

I have a ‘significant’ birthday coming up at the end of the month, which I am a bit nervous about, I think these shoes would make me a whole lot happier!
