Product review- Magnifibres lash extender

I am always a little sceptical when I hear that a mascara can give a “false lash effect”. Especially when you can tell the model is wearing fake eyelashes under the mascara.
I heard rave reviews about Magnifibres lash extender and I just had to try it to see what the fuss is about.
It’s very different to any other mascara I have tried, because it’s not actually a mascara! It is actually fibres.
You apply your normal mascara, wait for it to dry, apply Magnifibres and then apply more of your regular mascara.
It is a little strange to apply, because it’s nothing like I have ever used before, like brushing tiny bits of cotton wool or cobwebs on to your eyelashes!
When you brush on the second layer of mascara it is actually amazing! It looks like I have double the amount of eyelashes and it looks like they are longer too. It’s a really nice effect because I don’t like the look of fake eyelashes, I just want natural looking longer thicker eyelashes without looking like I’m in drag and this is what Magnifibres gives me. I have heard girls use this every day, and I can see why. It’s really great! I will deffo be using this often!

One thing to remember though, if you mascara is old and dry, this product doesn’t work as well as if your mascara is new and moist.

I don’t know…isn’t it like the Double Extend by Loreal that has been out there for ages? Why should i spend 32dollar instead of the the usual 9? I have the experience that you are most likely end up with incredibly unnatural looking Barbie doll looking lashes…do you know what i mean? But it’s always interesting to know what the industry is coming up with next. :) Thanks for the post.

Yes i don’t like my lashes to look too thick and false looking however. i wear two coats of mascara anyway. I just remember years ago, a big deal about fibres. They used to put them in mascara and lots of complaints because they ended up in peoples eyes and being major irritants.

I have used a product similar – from the brand Too Faced. But you only applied the cotton-like product first, which irritated my eyes because I wear contacts. But this Magnifibres sounds not only amazing and promising, I think I could use it since you do a coat of mascara first. I’m super excited! I hope I can find it in Tennessee!
